BEAUTIFUL STYLISH HOUSE BY THE WATER
‘AAN ‘T KANAAL’
Our holiday home – with a lot of privacy – is located on the first and second floor of a detached house situated by the waterway that was once the main connection between the Frisian cities Harlingen and Franeker. The house was built in the thirties and although the house has been modernized and made more sustainable, it still exudes authenticity.
The two bedrooms (2 x 2 persons) are located on the second floor and are spacious and comfortable. The northern bedroom overlooks the canal and marina located on the opposite side.
Space & views
The living room with open kitchen is on the first floor. There’s a sunny conservatory with balcony on the southerns side of the living room. You can also find a toilet and bathroom with bath, separate shower and a washstand with hot and cold running water on this floor.
At the front of the house you can park your car for free. The picturesque and bustling center of Harlingen is just a seven minute walk away from our holiday home.
